So Where DOES All That Water Go?

The nice thing about the heavy rain the past couple of days is it will wash away the last reminders of winter in the form of obstinate piles of wet snow sulking next to driveways and on the side of the road. On the other hand, that is a LOT of water all at once. Where does it all go?

Spring IS Coming.....and So Are the Weeds!!

By the time you see this, we will be in the throes of a snowstorm-winter's last gasp. We hope. That said, this is Maryland, which means that this snow and cold could give way in a few days to warm temps and daffodils. One never knows around here.

Sure winter has its up side. There's skiing we're sure there are a bunch of other things that winter is good for. But winter is NOT good for your hardwood or laminate floors. The salt and ice melt used on roads and sidewalks can scratch and dull your floor over the course of one minor snowstorm.
